Diamond-Prison Dog's Story...
Your life will sparkle when you adopt Miss Diamond. She's a 6 year old American Bulldog with a very endearing personality. It's hard not to like this sweetheart. She was an indoor dog and has terrific house manners. Diamond is not fond of other dogs, likes kids and has never been around cats. Being an adult she is calm and listens. Hurry on down to Friendship and take a look at Diamond. You just may be going home with a new best friend.

On August 08, 2013 Diamond was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Diamond is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend between 8-12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting Diamond, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond-Prison Dog, a Elyria American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
