Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. She is a young girl who is about 4 years old and in desperate need for some stability and love in her life. This is Lexi’s story, told by her current foster:
“Lexi 's owner died of an overdose and the Uncle threw Lexi out like a piece of trash. I found Lexi in a field, hungry and scared of people. After a couple of weeks, she warmed up to me and we have been taking care of her ever since. Lexi is good with any animals and just wants to be loved. I just want to see her live out the rest of her life getting loved and attention.”
The sad part is that this kind samaritan who took Lexi in, has been told by his landlord that Lexi has to go. We are now in an accelerated motion to find her a good home or another foster place. Lexi is housetrained, not destructive at all, good with cats and just a bit shy with strangers at first. Her past has been more secluded, and kept her from meeting new people, so now we would like to find her an easy going home that will introduce her to the love of a family and a great life full of adventure that Cattle Dogs love!
