Jake's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jake's Story...
Look who we found sitting in a kill shelter! It's a puggy type boy named Jake. His family turned him in because they moved and were unable to take him with them. He is 2 1/2 years old, good with other pets and kids and a total lovebug. He is very comical too! Jake could stand to lose a few pounds so we hope he can find an active home that will help with that. Jake is all vetted and ready for his new home this coming weekend! Hurry and apply...he will be a popular guy once he is on the website!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Washington Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Washington, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
