Moosh's Story...
MOOSH
6 year old Male Sealpoint Himalayan; fostered in Lodi, CA

Moosh has attracted considerable attention since he first appeared on the Purebreds Plus website, courtesy posted on behalf of his original owner, who was placing him. To nobody’s surprise, he found a home very quickly. However, after three months, he was returned. Now Purebreds Plus has taken him into foster care and will be screening potential adopters.

Moosh is an adorable, friendly cat who has shown no signs of aggression or other naughtiness. He craves human attention and follows his foster mom “like a puppy dog.” When human visitors come, he greets them, and he is no less welcoming to other felines. He takes well to the regular grooming that all Persians and Himalayans require and enjoys having his eyes cleaned. (Wait your turn, little guy.)

The ideal adopter for Moosh is a person who knows how to groom a Himalayan and who will give this charming fellow the consistent attention he desires. A stay-at-home or work-at-home mom or dad would be ideal, and kitty friends would be welcome. We feel it would be best for Moosh to go to a home without small children.

Moosh is healthy and uses the litterbox consistently. He is fostered in Lodi. If you are already in love or have additional questions, contact his foster mom Jen at jenniferfarrell@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moosh, a Davis Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Davis, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
