Wheaties's Info...

Wheaties's Story...
This handsome young man is around 6 months old, is Small/Medium in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he appears to be a sweet & loving young man, scared at the shelter, but loves his walks and in his kennel he wants to climb in your lap so you can keep him safe. Pretty well mannered little fellow and is a special boy that is in need of a family to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Wheaties's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Wheaties appeared to past the test with no problems. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Wheaties to play and be safe in. We feel he may make a super sweet loving family member and loyal companion. If you wish, Wheaties can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Wheaties. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wheaties, a Grass Valley Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
