Girl*URGENT*'s Story...
This very pretty young lady is around 9 years old, is Large/Medium in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, she appears to be a sweet & loving young lady, very alert, pretty well mannered, happy, playful and is a special girl that is in need of a family to love. Girl & Josie's owner turned his dogs over to the shelter because he can not care for them any longer due to his age and not being able to get around himself. He said that Girl & Josie got along with other dogs, cats and children while in his car and really enjoyed rides in his car.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Girl's mouth, pulling on her ears and tail, holding her paw and giving her a little kiss and hug. Girl appeared to past the test with no problems. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Girl to play and be safe in. We feel she may make an outstanding companion . If you wish, Girl can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter.

Act quickly to adopt Girl*URGENT*. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Girl*URGENT*, a Grass Valley American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
