After all my adventures, I’m ready to settle down in a forever home. Everyone who meets me says I’m a sweet, loving cat. My foster Aunt says the neatest thing about me is that I do a “three-paw knead” when I am happy (instead of just 2 like most cats.) Sometimes I even w and not get tired of it.
I know I would really like to have a family of my own because once upon a time I had one. I was adopted as a kitten but my family had a baby who had allergies so I was returned to my foster mom when I was 2 years old. I was adopted again when I was 5. After only a couple of days, I rushed thru a door thinking it was a room I hadn’t explored yet and began a not so fun adventure. I fell off the balcony. Scared, I ran and ended up on a freeway. Somehow I made it up on the freeway divider where a kind woman rescued me from the hot sun and those loud machines that kept thundering by. Thank goodness I was microchipped so she was able to get me to my foster mom’s sister. My new mom's mom got sick and she had to go care for her so I got returned to my foster mom, again.
I got adopted a THIRD time, but their little boy wasn't so good with me once he got used to me being in their home so I started to hide and they decided to return me. I would really like to have a forever home. I get along with all sorts of people, and even kids, as long as they don't pull my tail or ears. I get along with other kitties and dogs. Do you have a stable home where I wouldn’t need to have any more big adventures?
Purr Paws Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3). We are a foster based rescue, meaning that we do not have a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live with their foster families until adoption. We are a no-kill rescue, meaning that we do not euthanize for space. Quality of life is important to us.
Purr Paws Rescue is always looking for new foster homes and volunteers to help with adoption days, transport, and the adoption center at Petsmart Cypress.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We hold adoptions on most Saturday's and Sunday's at Petsmart Cypress (Hwy 290 @ Spring-Cypress) from Noon to 4pm. For more information, please check out our website.
Our Adoption Process...
We have a $95 adoption fee which helps cover the costs of getting the cats and kittens to adoptable status. We do have an application, which can be filled out online on our website, and then a contract upon approval.
