Jude's Story...
Have you ever seen such a cute and handsome face! Sweet Jude is a 6-year-old male pug who needs to find his forever home. He is full of love - as with many pugs, he can be described as a velcro dog! Jude has good house manners and knows that outside is the place to play and get rambunctious. He is housebroken and great with dogs and kids. He has some skin and eye issues that are being taken care of, and he will be neutered and have airway surgery before being adopted. This sweet boy is old enough to be calm inside and young enough to have years of loving left.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jude, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
