Caitlyn's Story...
Caitlin was born in 2004. She is a female tortoiseshell-colored domestic short-haired cat. Caitlin is spayed and declawed and up to date with rabies vaccine. She is a small and friendly cat, but is a bit on the shy side. Her cat guardian passed away recently and the family cannot take in all of the late guardian’s cats. She would do really well in a loving home with no young kids. She does play well with other cats. She is in need of a really good home. She is an indoor cat only. She has not been combo tested
for FIV/FeLV
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caitlyn, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
