Jaggar's Story...
Our shelter Director witnessed this dog being thrown out of a car on Hwy 274 in Tool, Texas. They pulled over to the shoulder, opened the door, and pushed him out. He chased the car for about 1/2 mile before giving up. She was able to catch him after awhile and he was brought to the shelter. He is a friendly dog that gets along well with other dogs. He appears to be a young dog around 1-2 years old. He also appears to be housebroken. When I took him out of his kennel, he pottied for several minutes (it appeared that he was holding it).

This dog is available to rescue, foster or adopt. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaggar, a Plano Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Plano, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
