Benny is doing wonderful in his new home!! Thank you so much Pat for seeing his Facebook post and wanting to meet him!! Within the first 24 hours, Benny had scoped out his new home for all of his favorite napping places:) We also want to thank you Pat for his commitment to adopting older cats that are often not given a chance due to their age. It is truly a wonderful thing!!
**Update- Benny's owner was admitted to hospice earlier than expected. He is in need of a new loving family immediately rather than August like originally thought. He is currently in a very short-term foster home in Chalfont, PA**
Hi everyone, my name is Benny. I am a beautiful medium-haired fellow approximately 8 years old. I am so very sad as my current mommy is very, very sick with terminal lung cancer and it will only be a matter of time before she will not be able to take care of me anymore. Right now, I am her furbaby, her sole companion and a huge source of comfort for her in this difficult time. I am the only family she has.
It would be a huge relief for her to know that I had an amazing home and family to look out for me after she is gone, so Kitty Junction is helping her by trying to find me someone who will love me, but is willing to wait until the sad time comes most likely sometime in August.
I have been an indoor kitty all my life and am good with other cats. I have never been around a dog, so we're not sure how I'll react. I have been seen by my vet every year, am current on vaccinations and have never had any health problems. I am very sweet and affectionate, and I still have lots of energy and love to play!!
