Toby's Story...
Hi my name is Toby! I am an 8 month old lab mix & a very smart baby! I know I get overlooked because I am a little bigger (even though I only weigh about 40-45lbs) & I'm mostly black in color but I am one of the sweetest, most handsome boys you'll ever meet! I know basic commands, listen well, & LOVE kids...I like to follow them around & play ball too! If your looking for an awesome family pet...I'm your guy!!! I have been in foster for months now & would love my very own home & family! If your interested in me please contact my foster mommy at cmgillian79@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Indian Trail Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Indian Trail, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Indian Trail.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Trail already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Trail breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Trail paves the way for another one to be saved.
