Sky- Courtesy post's Story...
Sky is a 10 month old lab mix looking for her forever home. She has been shuffled around a lot in her short life and deserves a committed owner who understands the needs of a lab mix puppy. (Play time, guidance, and some way to burn off that energy!) She is 40 pounds, spayed, up to date on all shots, and licensed. Sky adores people, is desperate to please, and a total cuddlebug. She is housebroken, doesn't pull much on the leash, and knows basic commands. She currently lives with three dogs and a one year old and does great with all. She has lived with cats as well, she wants to play but is not aggressive. Very submissive personality, she can handle rougher dogs without getting intimidating or aggressive in response. She does need to be in a home with another dog, or with someone who is home most of the time. She does not do well as an only dog in a home where she is alone 8+ hours a day. Everyone who meets her loves her. I am including her crate, toys, leash and collar. You can reach me by phone at 614 477 7989 or email at laurenross0212@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sky- Courtesy post, a Columbus Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
