Oakley's Story...
Oakley is a real charmer! Surrendered to a shelter as a stray, poor Oakley had a badly broken back leg. He had his surgery, has recovered nicely and is now looking for a new place to call home. Oakley is about 10 months to 1 year young, great with other dogs and cats. He weighs only 12 pounds, so would be best in a home without small kids. He is active but not "busy", happy to be with you but not overly needy and a really nice, all around little dog. If you are interested in meeting this fellow, please email or call 519-940-4712 Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oakley, a Toronto Japanese Chin/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin/Pomeranian for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Japanese Chin/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin/Pomeranian breeders who help with Japanese Chin/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
