for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Merlin's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Merlin's Story...
Merlin is quite a special kitty. He is about five years old, and has some kind of neurological condition. When he walks he swivels his head back and forth, as if he's trying to make sure no one is going to sneak up on him! It is so endearing and sweet.

Merlin is a love bug. He loves attention and gets along great with other cats and even dogs. He was abandoned by his owners after they had him for 5 years at a high kill shelter in north Texas. It's taken him some time to adjust to a new environment, but that's to be expected when he's been uprooted from everything he knew.

Merlin deserves a loving and wonderful home. Make an appointment to come see Merlin today, he will win you over!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a San Antonio Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
