Sam's Story...
I'm Sam and I'm pretty sad right now. My Dad adopted me from Dal Rescue 10 years ago and now has to leave me behind. His Dad says I have been an angel for the whole time he has had me. Here is what he says about me.....

"Sam is about 12 years old. He is great around kids and other dogs. He had a sister for about 8 years who unfortunately had cancer. He has been alone for the last 4 years in the house with us. He is very well trained. He is good in really any environment. He's a great dog. He's getting a little older so his legs shake due to arthritis."

To meet Sam, please email daldoglady@netzero.net You must fill out an Adoption Application on www.dalrescuetampabay.org Adoption fee is $150. Home and vet checks required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Tampa Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
