Are you prepared to fall head over heels in love? 10-month-old Stitch is the soft, cuddly best friend you’ve always wanted. He will just melt in your arms and will quickly find his way into your heart. On the petite side at 40-45 lbs, we don't expect him to get much bigger. Stitch gets along well with his two foster dog siblings, and although he is very interested in cats, he’s obedient and does not bother them.
Stitch is deaf, but he doesn’t let that get in the way of his being a typical fun, loving, playful, and social dog! In fact, he’s super smart and will not leaving you guessing what he wants. He will bring you a leash if he wants to go for a walk, he will bring you his bowl if he wants to eat, and of course, he will bring you his tennis ball if he wants to play fetch. How adorable is that?! And boy does he love to play fetch!
Very people focused, Stitch is always happy to obey the rules and loves to be a good boy. His foster parents thought that using signs to communicate with Stitch would be difficult, but what they found was that it is more interactive and an even better way to bond than just talking to him. Stitch has been learning hand signals for Sit, Down, Come and Stay. He is still a young dog and has some practicing to do, but he is progressing marvelously! Stitch is also potty trained as well. All he needs now is his forever family to find this precious boy and take him home.
