Hi! My name is Ava. I am a 2 year old lab/heeler mix who loves kids & other dogs. I am a curious pup and love to spend my time sniffing around the yard to see what has been going on out there. I also love to learn, a great side effect of being curious. I know a few tricks including “sit” and “shake” and I never jump up on people. I have noticed that people seem to be happier when I greet them politely rather than bowling them over and I love to make my people happy! I am potty trained and crate trained (but don’t forget to leave a tasty treat please!). During my foster family’s mealtimes I sit quietly & never beg for human food, this seems to be another people pleaser! Why work so hard at being the perfect pet? Well because a happy family gives me more attention & I LOVE attention! When I’m receiving all of this love I make sure they know I’m enjoying it. I lay my paw on their lap so they know I don’t want the attention to stop anytime soon. Isn’t that a good idea? Pretty cute, too! Yeah, I know how to work it…
If you are looking for a new best friend, I would love to meet you! I am pretty good at being a friend!
Ava’s adoption fee is $400, which includes all vaccinations, spay, and microchip! Please visit www.goodkarmamn.org to fill out an adoption application.
Once you fill out our adoption application, an awesome representative of Good Karma will contact you to answer any questions you may have and set up a time for you to meet Ava! Good Karma Animal Rescue’s approval process includes conducting a home visit before adopters take their new pet home.
Note on breed determination: Good Karma Animal Rescue of MN bases our breed determination on appearance, our own knowledge, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. We are not breed experts, and we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix but do our best to provide an accurate breed assessment.
