HANNAH's Story...
"My name is Hannah, I am 1 year old and 15 Lbs. My foster mom says I look like a mini Golden Retriever, she says I am super sweet, friendly, playful and affectionate, that is just me, I love life, I am very sociable, she says that I always look like I am smiling, I make friends easyly. I love my walks, I am good with the leash, I love playing with dogs, always ready to play, I am not sure how I will be with cats, there is no kitties at my foster home, but I really don't want to hurt anyone so I think I will be alright. I am longing for a home and family of my very own, I promise I will be good....."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HANNAH, a El Cajon Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cocker Spaniel for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
