Lady's Story...
Lady was found wandering the streets. She was very thin, she had the plastic rings (from a six pack of sodas) around her neck and her eye looked as if it had been hit with something. A good samaritan took her in, removed the plastic rings, fed her to a good, healthy weight and helped her eye heal. She is about 2 years old, is wonderful with dogs and children. She is an absolute sweetheart! Great family dog! She is working on "Sit" and "Down" but seems eager to please and is doing well with these two basic commands. We are accepting adoption applications for this lovely lady.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Lodi Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
