Frankie's Story...
The adoption fee for Frankie has been pre-paid by a generous donor!
Normal adoption qualifications still apply.

Frankie Lymon once sang "Why Do Fools Fall in Lo...ve?" but you don't have to be a fool to fall for this Frankie. He's easy to love! And he returns the love right back with a cheerful, affectionate nature. Frankie has a young dog's playful energy. He enjoys a good game of fetch and with a lawn at his disposal will make you laugh with his goofy rolls and wriggles. But it's not all about the action for Frankie, he also appreciates the quieter moments in life. He is very easy to handle, knows how to sit, and is a nice walker--no pulling for this fellow. Frankie loves a good cuddle and will lay in your lap, or stretch out beside you for belly rubs. Frankie is both dog & cat friendly!
This boy would be a loveable addition to any household and we're already jealous of the lucky adopter who will scoop him up!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Berkeley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
