My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is Adopted

Lucy is currently fostered in Chardon Ohio and her adoption donation is $200

Lucy is a darling little 5-6 yr old female cocker spaniel.
She came into our rescue from a high kill shelter here in Ohio where she was found as a stray.
We do NOT have any history on her, but we do know that her right eye was in terrible shape (bulging)when she was found wandering the streets.
She was so dirty, wet and scared when found, and she looked to be in pain due to her bulging eye.
We had thought that this was due to glaucoma, however after being looked at by the vet, it was determined that she had some form of trauma to the eye in the past that was left untreated.
The eye needed to be removed, and there was no vision in the eye at all.
Lucys eye has since been removed, and she is doing well, her vision in her remaining eye is good, and there are no signs of any problems.
Lucy has adjusted well since she was already blind in her bad eye, so now it is just healing from the surgery.

She is such a sweet and well tempered little cocker girl, and she may only have one eye, however she has so many great qualities about her.
She is loving and affectionate, good with other dogs, is housetrained, and is an easy going little companion.
This little girl will steal your heart if you meet her, she is so tiny, only 16 lbs, and is a petite little girl.

Lucy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
