Sushu's Story...
Little Sushu is the nicest small dog, you will ever meet. He is a happy, happy boy and LOVES to give kisses and snuggle up in your arms. Sushu has been living in a home enviroment but his owner is moving and can't keep him anymore. Sushu is only about 18 months old and very playful. His favourite toy is his stuffed teddybear but even more so, he loves playing with other doggies. Sushu also likes it, when you sing to him. Yes, Sushu just has a great personality all around. We believe he is a mix of Chihuahua / Min Pin and possibly Italian Greyhound, he weighs about 15 lbs., is healthy, neutered, current on all vaccines and is micro-chipped.
Adoption or foster only open to Southern California residents. An application must be filled out PRIOR to meeting any ofour dogs. We do not adopt our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sushu, a Van Nuys Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
