Cassy's Story...
Cassy is as gentle as a doe, has a heart as big as the world, a nurturer - such a wonderful mama to her puppies, learns quickly and wants so much to please you asking only a belly-rub in exchange for undying devotion. She and her two baby girls were abandoned on a remote creek bank where she desperately tried to fend for herself and her puppies. She was very happy to be rescued, as this little family was starving, dehydrated and worn out from their ordeal.

Cassy will make the most wonderful companion. Our volunteers have taught her to sit and 'down'. Walks on the leash are exciting for her and she rides very well in the car. Casey is spayed, vaccinated and hopefully waiting for someone to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassy, a Neosho Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
