Brutus is a two year old Pyrenees mix who was adopted from GPRCI as a small pup and surrendered back to us this past spring at age two due to "lack of time". He has been with us since April gaining confidence, weight, strength and adjusting to losing his family. We now see the silly, sweet and playful boy he truly is. Brutus is a rather shy and anxious personality who needs time to trust and adjust. He also has some structural issues with one hip and arthritis in both knees. We are looking for an adopter for Brutus who truly wants to help a special needs boy with the backing of this rescue. He is good with other dogs, cats and grew up with kid between 5 and 10 years old. Brutus has also had some formal obedience training. If you are interested in adopting Brutus and would like more info about him, good points and challenges, please call Cindy at 309-827-6143.
