My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nilla is a precious little dachshund mix with wirey hair that adds to her cuteness factor! She is really in tune with her human friends and is very eager to please. Nilla is a year old and full grown, weighing only 9 lbs., the perfect size for a lap doggie! She gets along great with cats. She does well with most dogs but will stand up for herself if any of the larger ones start pushing her around. She is confident and friendly and will be a great companion. We have not seen her around children but she should certainly do fine with well-behaved youngsters.
Nilla is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her shots. She is crate-trained and housebroken. She walks great on lead and is a very easy dog to take care of. Nilla is negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. The first step in our adoption process is the adoption application form which you can complete on line at our website www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the application please call (336) 251-8877 to make an appointment to meet Nilla at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. Appointments are generally made between noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, including holidays. We and the dogs are there by appointment only!
