Chervil's Story...
Chervil is a very sweet girl that came to us from South Carolina, where animal control took her out of an abusive situation. She was extremely thin and very shy when we got her a few weeks ago, now she is almost at her perfect weight and very happy to run and play with the other small dogs here. She chases a ball, but has not quite mastered the return yet. She can still be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. I am going to call her a Feist mix, but who knows, whatever she is she sure is cute. She is about 1 year old, up to date on vax, spayed and on monthly HW prevention. She is also completely crate trained and uses a dog door too! She weighs right at 15 pounds, just the right size for an apartment dog, she would be a great addition to any family or single person household. Adoption fee of $150 is required, which goes toward saving and vetting another dog in need. If you would like to meet Chervil call 931-698-0303 or email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chervil, a Columbia Pug/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Boxer for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Pug/Boxer dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Boxer breeders who help with Pug/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
