Finn's Story...
This is Finn. Finn is a 10 year old long haired male. He has the most interesting markings, we could not necessarily call him a tabby, his fur is black and brown. Finn was the most frightened of the group, perhaps because he is the oldest and he only has one eye. He would not even look at the camera. This guy broke our hearts. Please come meet Finn and take him home. Finn came from a home with 7 other cats. Their owner became very ill and has to go into a nursing home. She had 8 cats and 3 dogs and Pet Project took all of them. The cats are all very frightened and it does not help that they just arrived the morning their photos and videos were taken. However we wanted to get them up on Petfinder as soon as possible so we can find good homes for them quickly. Each and every one of the 8 cats were not aggressive at all after all they had been through. They were at the vets office before they arrived here so they are all confused and scared. They all respond to our touch but some are just more frightened then others. Please find it in your heart to give one of these wonderful sweet cats a home again. They would adjust so much more quickly in a home setting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finn, a Marseilles Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
