Here's what the humans have to say about me:
http://www.valleydogs.org/nickers.html -- They call me Nickers. There has been a lot of debate about “what” I may be, but the consensus is long haired dachshund and basset mix. What I can tell you is I am a very good dog.
I was found running with a canine pal about a month ago. Surprisingly, no one has come looking for me despite postings, so here I am looking for a new family to call my own. I was originally in a home with two young boys and did great with them, but they had too many dogs so my foster mom took me in.
I am housebroken; know how to use a doggie door and good with other dogs. I currently live with 9 others from 6.5 lbs to 55 lbs. I am a pretty mellow boy, I haven’t been too demanding of attention, but love to be close by and will soak in all the love you can give me. I like to sleep on the cool floor next to my foster mom’s bed. I love to go for walks and explore the world. I don’t bark much, but when I do I sound like a much bigger dog than what I am.
I would love to meet you and see if you may be the right new family for me.
