Buddy-adoption pending's Story...
Hi—I am Buddy. I am a 7 year old pure breed Dachshund. I weigh about 16 lbs. My doggie sister, Baby, and I are looking for new homes as our family can no longer take care of us due to an accident. The nice people at Chicagoland Dog Rescue told my family that they would help us find a nice new home. We are hoping that someone that will love and care for me (and maybe Baby too!).
Ibaby and buddy really enjoy playing with people and getting lots of petting! I am a people social dog and love the company of my friend, Baby. If you have a little room in your house and your heart for a cute little boy like me, please contact Chicagoland Dog Rescue and let them know that you would like to be my new family!
Hope to give you kisses real soon,
Buddy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy-adoption pending, a Schaumburg Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
