Stetson's Story...
Stetson was abandoned at a high kill Inland Empire shelter through no fault of his own. This happy go-lucky boy is everyone's friend. He can sit to command, loves to play fetch and just wants to be part of the family action. He would do great in a busy household with lots of activity and people coming in and out. Stetson is around 10-months old and weighs around 13-lbs

Stetson is around 10-months old, weighs about 12-lbs and is a pretty Miniature Poodle, so no shedding. We have not tried him around water but these dogs have water usually hard-wired in to their system.

Please print off and fill out one of our adoption applications from our web site at http://ocpoundhounds.com/how-to-adopt/ if you would like to meet him in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stetson, a Orange Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Orange, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
