found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.
I once was a stray and the great folks at Southland Sheltie Rescue took me in. I had an ear and skin infection. I do not mind the medication and I’m almost fully recovered. My teeth will be cleaned soon and I like it when my foster home brushes my teeth daily. I’m just the right size for the kitchen sink (weigh about 20 lbs.), so monthly baths are a breeze. When you are done with my bath, you can certainly use the hair dryer and brush. I will sit all day while you groom me. This will help for I am working very hard to get back my beautiful coat. I was neutered and have had all my vaccinations. I even have a microchip so you will never loose me. Isn’t that great!
I need someone who will help me with my medication, if needed; and to provide me with good food and even fresh fruits and vegetables twice a day. I hope you like to go on walks, take naps and play with me because I just simply adore human attention. I do need someone who is willing to learn how to live with a hearing impaired dog. It is not clear yet if this is condition is permanent; but we will need to learn hand signals just in case. Just a soft blow on my fur wakes me up to your requests.
I hope that you are interested in meeting me for I’m so looking forward to meeting you. Please make sure you have completed the online application on the Sheltie Rescue website.
Teddy Bear is in Orange County. Adopters from Southern California are especially encouraged to apply. To sponsor him, please make a donation on our website or email us for more information.
