Mr. Foxy's Story...
Mr. Foxy recently lost his dad and needs to find a new forever home. He is a long haired chihuahua about 6 years old. He weighs about 12 pounds (on a diet to lose 1 or 2). He gets along just fine with all the dogs around here, although he really couldn't care less about them, he just goes about his day doing his own thing. He is fully house trained, up to date on all his vax, neutered and on monthly HW prevention. He would be an absolute perfect dog for a senior (that's what his dad was), very low maintenance, not too active just happy to be curled up on a good pillow. Could you be the right person to share your love with Mr. Foxy? Call 931-698-0303 for more info and an appointment to meet him. Adoption fee required which goes toward the vetting and saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Foxy, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
