Tarragon has had it pretty rough, but he is one tough cookie. He was born with a bad back leg, but he doesn't let that stop him from running and playing with the other little dogs here. He is a long haired chihuahua that is about 1 year old. He is up to date on all vax, on monthly HW preventative and is neutered. He is also crate trained. If you would like to meet Tarragon, call us at 931-698-0303 to schedule an appointment or email woofwoof324@gmail.com An adoption fee of $125 is required which goes toward the vetting and saving of another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tarragon, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
