Buddy's Story...
A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED.

Buddy can't wait to meet you! Buddy is an affectionate Kansas City party dog looking to trade in the streets for his fur-ever family. He is super friendly and loves everyone he meets! As a one-year old, Buddy enjoys playtime with people and his doggie friends alike, loves his toys, and plays fetch. But watch out for lots of doggie kisses! And there is nothing better than curling up with his family after a fun day of play. He also keeps a close watch on the house and will let you know if anyone gets too close. Buddy loves going for walks, but pulls on the leash. House training is going well, and Buddy knows to sit for treats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Mission Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Mission, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
