Hello! My name is MIA. I am a 4 year old female Malamute mix. I need a home where someone will play with me and have a lot of outdoor activities. I am very agile and athletic and LOVE to run. My favorite game was keep away with my Corgi friend. I am a happy girl, though a little shy at first. But once I get to know you, I'm a real snuggler. I am very good with other dogs, and actually prefer smaller dogs. And as an added bonus, I get along fine with CATS!

I am somewhat of an escape artist so I will need a very secure run or yard. I do well both inside and out, but prefer to be outdoors. I can sleep in a crate in the house and be well behaved, but I've also been fine loose in the house and am happy to sleep quietly next to my foster mom's bed all night long. I know basic commands like “sit” and “down”. I love walks, and pull a little at the beginning - but that's what I was bred to do! My foster mom has taken me out on the bike with a Springer attachment and I really like that! If you are a fun, active person, I am just the dog for you!

Mia is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all inoculations. She gets along well with cats and other dogs. She has not been around small children, but is very sweet. She is very social and loves to be with other animals. She is housebroken and knows basic commands. She wants to be a lap dog.
