Mabel's Story...
Name: Mabel
Age: 3 years
Breed: Schnauzer Terrier mix
Gender: Female
Mabel is a very loyal, awesome 'buddy' to have around. She is full grown just under 30lbs with a brown and black scruffy, wash-n-go coat (very low shedding, non-matting!). Her curly-q tail is expressive as she happily trots about. Mabel LOVES people of all ages and enjoys other dogs, and has a wonderful temperament. Mabel likes to come up for snuggles and 'talks' with the most expressive whines and groans. She's a smart little cookie and a great companion.
Mabel doesn't require too much in the way of exercise- she will be happy with a light walk and a warm bed to snuggle in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mabel, a Greensboro Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
