My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Commander Cody, or Cody for short! My foster momma named me, because I was found wandering the streets and ended up in doggie jail! Luckily for me, my foster momma drove to come get me. I was so excited when I got to meet her that I JUMPED into her arms! “I’m free!” I yelped, as she laughed and gave me a scratch. She let me sit in the front seat on the way to her house, and boy, do I LOVE car rides. I like watching peoples in their cars, and see what they are up to!

My foster momma has THREE other pekes at her house! I really like hanging out with them! One is kinda grouchy, so I try to keep my distance. My foster momma says I am the happiest, bounciest, bubbliest doggie she ever met. What can I say, after being in jail, this is the good life! I likes the doggies in my house, and I even likes the big huge doggie that lives next door. I didn’t bark at him or nuffin! I LOVES to be cuddled, and petted... sometimes I will give peoples a kiss in gratitude! My foster momma says I “walk excellent on a leash”, whatever that means. She also says that I am really lousy at posing for photos, and that I’m wayyy cuter in person. I’m still a young boy, with lots of “pep in my step”.. I thinks I’m around 2 years old in people years!

I has to go get surgery this week because my foster momma says I can’t keep my “man bits”, and I have a bladder stone that needs taken out. I’m not scared because I know that after I’m done recovering, I get to find my forever home! I love it here at my foster mommas, but she says that she wants to still be able to save other peke’s like me, and knows that I’ll find the perfect home!
