My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boone was an abandoned stray down in Arkansas -- this gorgeous purebred Corgi, can you imagine?? No one claimed him and, when his time was up, we made sure that nothing would ever happen to him again so we pulled him to safety and he has been grateful ever since. Well, okay, maybe a little "entitled"!! Boone is full of all the Corgi confidence, charm and quirks. What he lacks in size he makes up for in a giant personality!! He is making everyone laugh at his foster home with his silly antics: He jumps high like a little kangaroo when they get home because he's so excited to see them! He likes to say hi to the neighbors through the fence when he hears them, and he loves playing with other dogs . . . once he gets over the fact that the other dog isn't a Corgi!! He's pretty much potty trained as long as you let him out after eating but he may need a refresher course once he gets to his new home (we know he'll catch on quick). He's learning the leash and will be perfect with practice. He's got a medium energy level and is very content to be a couch potato when it's time to chill. Boone is about 1 - 2 years old, and he's a very healthy boy. As he is settling in to his foster home, his natural herding instincts have been coming out so we recommend a home with no small children and, if there are cats around, they may want their own escape route unless they are very tolerant. Corgi experience is preferable. If Boone is the little man you've been pining for, please visit www.pinkshelter.com for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting ., microchip AND neuter included in his $400 adoption fee. Boone is in Arkansas and transport fee is additional $140.
