MEET HOWSER. Finances and work schedule necessitate the surrender of this sweetheart. Howser is 6 years old, and has beautiful long hair, in black, white and brown. He weighs 14 pounds. Howser loves his walk and exploring parks. His favorite cuddle spot is in the crook of you arm like a baby. And of course expects to sleep with his human. Good in car and leash trained. Takes a while to get to know you, but once he does, Howser is a love bug. Please consider along with DOOGIE. Get two wonderful long haired fellows, just $150 each.
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $150, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give him a happy, carefree life again?
