Nike's Story...
Take Me Home received a call about this adorable three month old Labrador Retriever mix puppy who needed a safe place to go. A Good Samaritan rescued her, but they could not keep her. We wanted to pay their good deed forward, and we took this precious puppy into Take Me Home. We named her Nike which means the Goddess of Victory.

Nike could be a Labrador Retriever mix as she does have webbed feet. She is absolutely precious and loves other dogs and meeting new people. She loves being cuddled and exploring new adventures. Being so young we are working on her housebreaking skills. Nike is waiting for her happy ever after and, we hope that could be you! Please fill out our online application for sweet Nike.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nike, a Santa Monica Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
