Requirements for Ruby:
Another dog as a playmate.
Financially able to afford the food she needs to stay healthy. Approximately 130 dollars per month.
6 foot fenced yard.
Young Ruby was the mom to the 8 gorgeous puppies born in March. Ruby was kept as an outside dog her entire life so she has been getting used to living in a home. Mostly housebroken at this time she enjoys spending her time lounging on the couch and sleeping in bed at night. She is a love bug and wants to cuddle with people. Please don’t apply for Ruby if she can’t cuddle in bed with you. It would break her heart.
Ruby is still a puppy at heart and is currently attending basic obedience classes at a local trainer. She is scheduled to be spayed later this week and once recovered will be ready for adoption.
Some things to know about Ruby:
She has an extremely sensitive stomach. It is believed that she is lacking some digestive enzymes. The only food that we have found that she can digest is Nature’s Variety Instinct with Raw Boost in addition she requires 1/2 a frozen raw chicken patty from Nature’s Variety with her meal twice a day. She also takes one teaspoon of prozyme with her food. If she is maintained on this diet she will continue to thrive.
Please note we are looking for a family that will maintain this diet for Ruby. A lot of work went into getting her healthy and we almost lost her in the process.

What you will get in return for feeding her the best food possible is an extremely loving dog that gets along with all people and dogs alike. Cat friendly.
