I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Nina's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nina's Story...
Age: 7-8 years old
Weight: 35.7lbs
Medical: Eye infection that is currently being treated, being treated for heartworm, severely underweight.. Nina is spayed, up to date on her shots, and will arrive to her family as good as new in the end of November;)

This poor girl! Both she and Dominic are the victims of horrible neglect. They showed up to the pound and the staff was horrified- they see some of the most pathetic abuse cases, but these guys really stuck out to them. They are currently trying to find Dominic and Nina's former owner in order to press charges for animal abuse.

Obviously Nina has a long road to recovery- but she has never been treated like such a queen! The vet techs adore her- they said it is unbelievable that a dog that has been so obviously mistreated could be so very sweet. We are desperate to find her a comfortable retirement home where she can live in the lap of luxury for the rest of her life. Please send an email now if you have a tremendous heart and want to welcome this precious baby into your home..

Nina is currenly boarding at our partner vet clinic in Memphis, TN. Due to a shortage of foster homes in our area, we will not be able to transport Bankit to our area until he has a committed adopter. We are part of a rescue network that works so save dogs from the Tipton County Animal Shelter in Brighton, TN. Prior to rescue help, the euthanization rate for dogs and puppies was 90%. In the last year and a half, we've been able to place over 300 dogs into loving forever homes.

We realize that adopting a dog sight unseen is not for everyone, but we are absolutely committed to making the best match for both our dogs and our families.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Claymont Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Claymont, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Claymont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Claymont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Claymont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Claymont paves the way for another one to be saved.
