My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is a big old hound dog with a whole lotta love. Jax loves snuggles and attention. He is a bit of a lazy bones and is mostly content to lay around in the sunshine with a jog around every now and then. He is a distinguished gentleman of 5 - 7 years old and would like nothing more than a home of his own where he can laze around, soak up some love and go on some walks. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. He really craves attention and affection and he is a bit voice sensitive and it seems as if he may not always have been kindly treated. He certainly doesn't hold that against anyone though and really does just want to be loved. Unfortunately for Jax he arrived here heartworm positive. He has received treatment and is recovering well. He has about two more weeks before he can be neutered and then he will be ready for his forever home!

Please note that we only adopt to homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.
