Milkshake's Story...
Milkshake is an 8wk old male who was part of an unwanted litter of eight. He loves to be with people and is very playful. He is the dominant force in the litter. He weighs 6# and has a gorgeous fluffy coat that makes you just want to hug him. Mom is a long-coated chestnut terrier; dad is a smooth-coated black/tan terrier. Both weigh about 35#. Although Milkshake is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milkshake, a Groton Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Groton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
