Dixie's Story...
Dixie is a curious little girl, but had a rough start in life. She is very shy when she first meets people. She responds best with soft spoken words of praise. Dixie does extremely well with other dogs big or small. She has a submissive temperament and will get along with most any dog. She would make a great companion for another dog. Her current foster brother is a very large Mastiff and she follows him around everywhere! She knows sit and get down, and is housebroken. Dixie's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, a rabies shot and a microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
