Hello beagle lovers! Hello bulldog lovers! What? That’s right, I am Luke, and I am the best of both breeds! I am a beabull! I have the back legs and tail of a beagle, the front legs of a bulldog, and my face and head is a fuzzy, adorable mixture of both! I’m fit and trim, but pack a lot of muscle in my 38 pounds! Foster mom laughs at me because I try to counter surf, but my legs are too short!
I am only around a year old, and have never had any training, so I still have some learning to do, but foster mom says I am a good boy, and I will learn well with some love, training, and patience! Already I am much better at not chewing on things other than my toys, and housetraining is going pretty well too! I love to go for car rides and walks, and do pretty good on a leash (although the beagle in me wants to sniff, sniff, sniff, and pull a little bit).
I will stay in my crate if you have to leave and at night, but I like it best when you leave me with a toy or a treat to chew on. Sometimes I whine or let out a bark or two, but I settle down after just a couple minutes and I’m fine until you come and get me. My foster family has let me stay outside of the crate for short periods when they are gone and I’ve been a good boy so far!
I love to play fetch with a tennis ball, and I love toys of all types! I will play for hours if you will play with me, but I can entertain myself for a while too!
Foster mom says a home where I’m the only dog or only male dog would be better for me (I want to be the boss), and a home without small children would be best, because I sometimes don’t know my own strength and can get carried away. I love to play with the grownups and older kids though!
I am on the quieter side (that’s the bulldog part) and even when I see a squirrel I only bark a little to let him know I’m the boss. Foster mom says she thinks the beagle bay is something I missed out on in the gene pool!
I love my naps and snuggle times, and just love hanging out with my foster family! I would be your best boy if you would give me a chance! I have lots of love to give- don’t you want a boy as special as I am to be part of your forever family? Beabulls bobble, but they don’t fall down!!!
