Lizzie is listed here as a courtesy post. Please contact the Delaware County SPCA at 610- 566-1370 or by email at adoptions@delcospca.org. Here is her story.

Lizzie was brought into the SPCA by her owner. The poor girl has not been to the vet in the entire 3 years this woman owned her- she said that Lizzie is having accidents in the home. I imagine that it is a medical problem and not a behavioral problem, especially since Lizzie is around 10 years old. She would do best in a home with only adults and she is described as "very sweet temperment and very gentle. She can be fearful at times. She sleeps all day and is not terribly energetic." She is used to sleeping in a dog bed at night and she loves being picked up and held! Lizzie enjoys walks and car rides and gets along well with cats but hasn't had much socialization to other dogs. She is reported to like kids and women but can initially be fearful of men. She's a quiet little girl who needs a a visit to the vet and daily love and care the rest of her life.
