Mandy's Story...
MANDY is a female black and white Labrador Retriever mix who is approximately 3 months old. Her sister and kennel mate, Mindy, was adopted and Mandy has been so sad since she left. Mandy is pretty frightened at the shelter but once you sit down and spend time with her, she warms up. Mandy needs to be in a home where she will feel loved and protected instead of being scared at the shelter. Please consider making Mandy a part of your family today!

Upon adoption, Mandy will be spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $66.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Mandy at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:30 pm and Saturday 1-4:30 pm. Make sure you ask for a PAAC volunteer when you go visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy, a Corpus Christi Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
