Wagner's Story...
Wagner- this sweet boy was a disgusting matter mess when we rescued him from the contra costa shelter. He is about 2.5 years old and is a poodle, which means he will need ongoing grooming to make sure he doesn't look like he did. He took 2 hours of shaving to get the 1.1 pounds of hair off his small frame. He only weighs about 12-15 pounds, and is now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormer, had his teeth cleaned and is ready for his forever home. He loves men and is very cuddly and mellow. He currently lives with dogs and cats and doesn't care about either. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wagner, a Sacramento Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
